Summer adventures (ages 3-8)
Creativo! Summer Adventures will engage and challenge your child all day long! Activities include hiking, STEM, arts and crafts, the Chicago Summer Reading Program, forest skills, robotics, board games, famous artist investigations, outdoor sports, and games. We’ll also be taking care of chickens along with worm farming and composting! Campers will grow and care for vegetables and herbs a honeybee garden and restore our butterfly garden. Outdoor education enriches brain development, improves school performance, promotes physical health and performance, fosters social skills and self-efficacy, stimulates curiosity, imagination, and sense of wonder, helps develop positive civic attitudes and behaviors, increases attention span and sparks joy and confidence.
Camp is from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and we will be engaging in weekly field trips.
